Over 500 parents, students, faculty, and friends from all over Shanghai joined the Summer Fair at the SCIS Pudong campus last Saturday to celebrate the welcoming of new and old friends and the many hot days to come. If you missed out on this summer event, be sure to watch the recap video (see above).
Filled with food, festivities, and fun, the Summer Fair was a grand slam. The entertainment department did not disappoint. From start to finish, we had live performances by our talented Dragon musicians and singers.
The fun didn't stop there. There was a photo booth, kid-friendly games, a bouncy castle, lots of water activities, and even a bubble magician to keep the Dragon spirits alive.
And of course, a fair is not a fair without its international booths of food and beverages to fill our empty bellies and keep us hydrated under the scorching sun. Thank you to Tock's, Zup, La Coyota, Vietnamese Homemade, Amy's Thai Food, Yingos, Pher, Joss, Costco, Geneva, Cakezillav, Hey, Sugar, Jashnn Indian Cuisine, and Chefsmart.
For the shopaholics, we had a mini market featuring vendors from jewelry to home decor and candles to animal shelters. A shoutout to Mel Co, Wicks 82, Hutan, Fernanda Sung, The Nectar Foundary, Loop Swimwear, Greenwave, Hey Coach Sports Club, Rena's Table, New York Dental, Doucea, Ms. Lucia, and Neko Shelter.
A HUGE round of applause to the SCIS Pudong Parents and Friends Association (PAFA), parent volunteers, and student volunteers for leading, organizing, and executing this summer bash for our international community.
It has been celebration after celebration these last couple of months, and all of these events wouldn't have happened without the dedicated members of PAFA who put their whole heart and effort into each detail. So thank you for your continuous support. Go Dragons!
