SCIS Spring Carnival 2025 Highlights

At SCIS, celebrations are more than just events—they are a reflection of our vibrant, connected community. From the warmth of Winter Carnival to the energy of Spring Carnival, each gathering strengthens the bonds that make SCIS a special place for families, students, and friends. Last Sunday, the Hongqiao campus once again became a hub of excitement, welcoming guests to embrace the joy of the season together.

 

The day began with the SCIS Open House, offering prospective families a firsthand look at what makes SCIS unique. Guests attended an exclusive session with the Director of Schools, explored admissions pathways, participated in a live Q&A, and took a guided tour of the state-of-the-art learning spaces. This was more than an introduction—it was an invitation to experience the dynamic and welcoming SCIS community.

 

Egg Hunts & Classic Games

The annual egg hunt had children eagerly racing through the grounds, discovering hidden surprises along the way. Classic games like the egg and spoon race and the egg toss contest brought plenty of laughter, while bouncy castles kept young adventurers entertained throughout the day.

Spring is the perfect time to unleash creativity, and our workshops gave families the opportunity to do just that. From decorating colorful eggs to planting succulents and enjoying vibrant face-painting designs, every station was a space for artistic expression.

 

Performances & Activities That Wowed

For those looking for a thrill, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu sessions provided a dynamic experience, while a mesmerizing 30-minute magic show left audiences in awe. The festive photo booth was a favorite stop, capturing the fun and spirit of the day.

 

Music, Food, and Family Bonding

With live music filling the air and a cozy picnic area set up for relaxation, families enjoyed a perfect blend of entertainment and community bonding. Delicious offerings ensured there was something tasty for everyone to savor.
