I was born in England and raised on several RAF bases in the UK and Germany. Having always enjoyed Maths and Economics more than any other subjects at school, I decided to read Accounting & Finance at University but decided that a life as an accountant would be far too relaxing and instead began my training for the far more exhausting rewarding job of teaching Maths. After teaching in a UK state school for several years I decided to move abroad, first to the Falkland Islands for 2 years and then to Mongolia for 3 years. After teaching in these remote locations I am looking forward to the more cosmopolitan environment (and the many restaurants) in Shanghai. My first impressions of SCIS and Shanghai have been really positive and I am really looking forward to my first year at SCIS.
