    Hongqiao Upper School
This is my second semester, having joined the school in January this year. I am really excited to start a brand new full year at SCIS along with the rest of the new faculty. Although I am fairly new to the school, I have been in Shanghai for almost two years and love everything about it, especially the food and the people. I have been teaching for 5 years, having graduated from the University of Salford in 2003 and spending several years in industry before entering education. Previous to SCIS I have worked at Shanghai Rego International school and a highly challenging, multicultural, inner-city school in Manchester, England. My roles previously included Assistant Head of Science and Curriculum Coordinator. I enjoy traveling and meeting new people, and I am very much looking forward to learning more about the SCIS way of life.
