The SCIS college counseling office supports students through the college admissions process with personalized guidance aimed at finding a college program that best fits the individual’s passion and interests.
Beginning as early as Grade 9, students engage in reflective conversations with college counselors and faculty advisors to explore their interests, strengths, and aspirations. These discussions help them make informed decisions—from selecting challenging courses to pursuing extracurricular activities that align with their goals.
The college counseling offices use the resource BridgeU, as a main online college and career organizational and guidance tool to help students with the application process.
INDIVIDUALIZED GUIDANCE
Students receive personalized college counseling through regular one-on-one meetings, guiding them in strategic university selection, application preparation, and enrollment decisions.
SKILL DEVELOPMENT AND WORKSHOPS
Students sharpen essential skills through tailored workshops on essay writing, interview preparation, and application strategies.
GLOBAL EXPLORATION
Students participate in university fairs, campus visits, and admissions events that broaden their horizons and deepen their understanding of global university pathways.
FAMILY PARTNERSHIPS
We maintain strong home-school connections through parent meetings and educational resources, helping families support their child's learning journey.
