THE TEAM
Each campus has its own cafeteria and kitchen, operated by Basil N Latte (BNL)—a premier food service provider with expertise from fine dining to institutional kitchens. Our dedicated team crafts culinary solutions tailored to SCIS’s diverse community.
HOME COOKING & HOME TASTE
We prepare fresh, balanced meals daily onsite, featuring proteins, vegetables, and nutritious dishes. Our rotating menus reflect our students' cultural diversity, offering a taste of home.
WEEKLY MENU
Our weekly menu is designed to ensure a balanced diet with varieties that allows our community to enjoy a range of different selections throughout the week & month. We follow a pattern of 1 day beef / 1 day pork / 1 day seafood / 2 days chicken for our main courses, followed by an alternative solution for dietary, vegetarian, and custom needs upon requests (click below to enlarge the menu).

Going beyond just cafeteria and food service, we share knowledge and global perspectives through dining experiences.
BNL CAFÉ
Open daily on both Hongqiao and Pudong campuses, our cafés serve refueling-friendly options like homemade egg muffins and granola yogurt cups, fresh juice, smoothies, and more.
Café Hours:
- Hongqiao: 7:15 AM – 4:00 PM
- Pudong: 7:15 AM – 3:30 PM
