Our kitchen staff provide nutritious, healthy and safe meals for our students, staff and community.
Every week, lunch menus provide a healthy and balanced diet, designed to promote the active development of the body and fuel the energy needs for our students to grow and learn.
Every campus has its own cafeteria, kitchen, and head chef operated by Kaijun F&B Management, a company with a 7-year track record of success in the food and beverage industry here in Shanghai.
Food is prepared on site, with the chef overseeing the preparation. A truly international cuisine, consisting of everything from American dishes to Thai curry and from German meats to Japanese fish is served. Additionally, each canteen has a full salad bar, fruit bar, and sandwich bar.
In addition to the cafeteria, Illy Café’s are open every day on both our Hongqiao main and Pudong campuses from 7:30 – 16:30.
HEALTH & SAFETY
SCIS works with Kaijun F&B Management to ensure that the kitchen team has the highest possible food safety level. Our kitchen staff follow stringent health and safety standards in the sourcing of ingredients, food preparation, as well as daily cleaning and weekly deep cleaning of kitchen and dining areas.
We offer a range of services catering to those with special dietary concerns, allergy needs, and religious restrictions. Vegetarian options are offered at every meal and available to all ages.
